from Bonnie Hammond.
I have read somewhere that there are only two lasting bequests that we hope to give to our children. One of these is roots; and the other wings.
How fortunate in having the opportunity to raise your children in such a wonderful community of Prince Township.
We moved into our newly-built home in the Township of Prince October 31, 1972 --Hallowe'en! It just happened to be the day that Suzannah was born--new community, new home and new baby! Rachel, our chosen daughter, became part of our family in 1981. We are forever grateful! Thanks to people like Carolyn and Walter (Skip) Chisholm, we felt welcome immediately to this new community. Thanks to special neighbours/friends like Ben and Julia Gallina, Ron and Barbara Clark, Fred and Joyce Kent, Bill and Betty Haight and the list goes on ... Thank you!
Gary was elected as a Councillor from December 1978 until December 1985. Gary was also a member of the Conservation Authority and still is actively involved.
Sue, and Rach, may you never forget your roots of Prince and let those wings fly!
Love forever, Mom xxoo
